Turning Lines Into Objects in Inkscape

I mentioned that I was putting together a quick tutorial Inscape to answer a couple of design questions. This video, Jeff wanted to design a dream catcher and was wondering how to do the webbing. Robert asks how to save a design in Inkscape as a JPG.

I wish this info would sink in so i could do some patterning,guess i need special ed?lol :shock:
