We had to quickly clean out our storage unit in the spring and sadly the only place to put the stuff was around all my equipment. But we donated most of the stuff in the last few weeks, so I can finally get to the scroll saw. I want to make a cabin with some trees, but haven't decided yet how I want to go about it. I saw this neat idea to use old, worn boards, cut out the shapes, and then paint other boards in bold colors to attach to the back.... it really does look nicer than I'm able to describe it.

I made some beeswax wood finish today and put it on some pieces I cut out last year and it looks and works very well. Was cheap and easy to make.

One day life will be easy and I will have no idea what to do LOL

Hubby hasn't been doing well, so all my attention has gone to him. My scroll saw looks so lonely. I want to make a name plaque in the next few days to give to Hubby's dialysis Social Worker who is leaving the home-hemo patients :( She has a son with an uncommon name, Parke, so I want him to have something with his name on it :)

Hubby had an extensive doctor's appointment yesterday, a spinal tap today, and another appointment tomorrow, all for different health reasons. Spouses should come with warranties ;)

I still want to try to create a pattern from a picture, but that has definitely been placed on the back burner. I have been working on my blog to try and create some income there, but that takes time.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful new year!

I was diagnosed with pneumonia the Monday before Christmas and I'm finally starting to feel better! I haven't touched the scroll saw in weeks, but I'm hoping to try my hand at designing a pattern from a picture. I have been watching the videos from here and they are very helpful. Need to do some catching up on chores and things, before I can get back to scrolling. Just glad I'm feeling better!
