User Gallery Question

This may be an ignorant question, but I was taught that the only stupid questions are the one's you don't ask.
I notice on the homepage that it says there is not a limit on the user gallerys. However, I have been uploading a lot. I really enjoy the this community and appreciate the outlet to share my work. My question though is this. Regardless of what it says on the homepage, is there a limit to what I can upload without becoming a nuisance to the community? I have a hard time sometimes, especially when I post some of my in progress posts, figuring out what is worth uploading or not. So, I usually upload everything. I don't want to bother anyone though, especially group owners.

Not a silly question at all. I set up the User Gallery as a personal space for folks to upload pics of their work or anything else they're proud of. It is your space and you can do whatever you want with it. Works in progress really benifit from many pictures if someone is trying to figure out how something is done. So to answer your question, you can upload as much as you want. We certainly have enough server space to handle it.

That was a good question that made me think more.Accidents happen to everbody ,i would like to save whats in my gallery or the complete gallery of ssv if possiable on to a cd.Can that be done?Please and thankyou

Works in progress really benifit from many pictures if someone is trying to figure out how something is done.

Is there a way to know which gallery has a work in progress, past, present or in the process?

I appreciate the info as to the wip above but i can't find it.I looked in all the places i could and found nothing wip,work in progress? i just don't know.help direct me,please and thankyou.user control ,no help,search no help,FAQ no help.I need to know if i can down load all my pictures for safe keeping in case there's a crash on ssv?

In the town meeting section of the forum is the works in progress and tutorial section. I would imagine you would have to post there to see the WIP

Using the download cart is your only real option of saving a bulk of pictures at one time. But it isn't really designed to download huge number of files at one time. If you put too many pix in the download cart, you may lose connection or be reset before you're done downloading. I'd be comfortable downloading 10 or so pictures at one time using the download cart. But for backing up the entire gallery, you'll certainly have your work cut out for you. There's over 3000 pictures there. If you need help using the download cart, there is a tutorial here.

I think he was referring to the Works In Progress forum. This houses all of the tutorials and works in progress. As far as WIP galleries, those are organized by the poster in their personal User Gallery. If you want to see the poster's pictures for a WIP, just go to their User Gallery. You should be able to find them there.
