I take them to Office Depot or I use PosterRazor. PosterRazor is free software, works very well.

Would a ups store do it. And is there a size limit at staples? I'm making a Sign for someone and they want it 48"X24"

OfficeMax is about $0.08 per sheet of 11X17" where I go.  I just copied really large Intarsia patterns for the Eagle I just did.  Went to the local print/graphics place and they charged me $1.75 a sheet!

I take the normal pattern to Office Depot and have them enlarge them. I have had to have them do some on the plotter because they were too big for a printer.

I use the local library if necessary. I have an A3 printer and with PostErazor I can print most of what I need.

I use excel.  It will print out across multiple pages.  Tape the pages together with clear packing tape.

Thanks for sharing that info.  I was thinking it would be nice to have something like that with the added scanner.  Will check it out.

Can someone explain more on how to use PostErazor? I haven't down loaded it yet because I am afraid of not being able to use it.

I use CutePDF.

  1. It installs like a printer driver.
  2. When you get ready to print your oversize pattern you select it as your printer.
  3. Once selected you click on the properties tab.
  4. On the properties tab you can select tiling and set the final size of the IMAGE you need.,
  5. It will then tell you how many pages its going to print.,
  6. You can also set the amount of edge overlap which lets you line up the pieces accurately.

Works for me.  Russ
