all the doubting thomas's did'nt even come out of the wood work this time .Looks like i'll be cutting mini bird house with my usual ,scroll reverse blades .Stopped at a gas station in my neighborhood i never been to and there was a sign outside with line drawings of food on it .Line drawings are my favorite so i inquired as to how did them. Ends up the girl i'm asking this of is the culprit.I gave her a mini bird house and card and told her i do wood crafts.I asked her name and  favorite color and left.I came back shortly with her name in pink and silver glitter on it .I said maybe we could put a shelve in here with stuff on it ,partner. She smiled shyly so maybe. And the Spencer one is a security guard at publix .she seen another name i gave to someone else there and was commenting on how nice it was.I could tell she wanted one ,but i was wore out and just wanted to go home.Well next time i came there she was out side and all eyes are on me.I walked up to her and said i know by the look that you want to ask me something.Bingo she wanted her name and offered a 20 for it .Whoa! post-1607-0-36956200-1466970930_thumb.jpgpost-1607-0-72174300-1466970956_thumb.jpgpost-1607-0-34779000-1466970976_thumb.jpgpost-1607-0-20713400-1466970992_thumb.jpgpost-1607-0-08577900-1466971016_thumb.jpgpost-1607-0-21510700-1466971033_thumb.jpgpost-1607-0-36879500-1466971069_thumb.jpg

Wow! That's a lot of bird houses, looking good

196 of them Andrew .If i could just get a good fast cutting blade I'd do a shopping cart full of these.I love scrolling and these are too easy to cut.I looked and looked in my hard wood section and could not find any thick pieces to use for mini birdhouse. Thanks for looking.

Kevin, looking good. What type of wood are you using. Looks like B/B. Are you going to do those all natural or paint some. A little tip if your going to paint some. I would paint all the birds different colors and then paint some of the houses that have the roof on them and match the color to that. Leave the bottom part natural and dip the whole birdhouse in a can of poly. About 3 coats should do it. Glue the bird on after you paint it.

Ralph ,i'm so glad you posted what your saying .I got it now!Yes yours are fabulous! I glued the birds on already and i think painting them while they are on the house says the trouble of handling them till they dry,Boy do i have the stains clears, polys ,of every color from yard sales No two will be alike.I really wanted to make tons of these as i like scrolling but finding the right blade yet to do so is troubling me.The wood i'm using is 2"x4"white wood short pieces i had left over from making shelves here.I don't throw away much especially if i payed for it.I'm next time going to go thru the white wood 2x4 pile at the big box store and get the very light ones .I think they will speed up cutting time too. Thanks for the pictures.

looks great Kevin, did you have to drink that whole case of monster's to stay up to cut all of them?    ;)

I bought the case and wanted to have one to stop my sleeping so much at the saw and where ever.I have a coffee pot now but have yet to plug it in.I'd like to try pylon or bustello coffee's. No i just love to scroll.I like high detail quick projects. Now after I'm acclimated to cutting the bird houses it's just routine as goes fast less than a minute to cut one but i want to knock that time in half to fell productive.I can and will if i can find a hungry blade.thanks friend1

Amazing Bird House Man - Your new name today

I'm so sorry i don't have an aggressive blade other wise you may have to find a different title for me .I'd cut a truck load of these but don't want to waste time doing them slow when i can do them fast.I have cut some fast and with what blade i'm not sure as i've been going thru blades i got that are not in packages .These came with saws i bought .So there is a blade that compliments my cutting i just have to keep looking and listening here. Thanks AL!!!#1
