Welcome aboard, and thank you for your service to our country.  My son retired from the Navy 17 months ago.  Glad to have you join us here in the village.  I think you will enjoy it.  Nice to have another Washington member.  I live over on the dry side of the state.  Maybe someday we can have a "Northwest" scrollers get together...

First, welcome to the Forum.  It's a great place with lots of great people, who are always willing to help, give advice when asked for it, cheer you on and have a good time.  Second, and more importantly, thank you for your service to our country and the world.

Your cross is looking good.  Take your time and realize you are going to have mistakes.  When in doubt, be sure and ask here - someone can help you figure out the info. you need.

Brady,

I too am from the North West. I live in Eastern Oregon and I too hope to some day have an opportunity to meet you. Scrappile and I have been friends for about a year and enjoy the chance to get together every once in awhile. Tell us what brand of scroll saw you have and the blade you are using on your cross. You chose a good pattern to start with. We all started at the same spot and found that things progressed pretty fast as we went from one project to another. You will too. Glad to have you with us
