Welcome to Scroll Saw Village. In order to keep things organized, we have a number of individual forums. Please help us keep things organized and in the correct forum. Threads that are posted in an inappropriate forum will be moved by a moderator. The description and purpose of each forum is listed in more detail below.

Introductions - This is a great place for new members to introduce themselves, and for you to meet the newest member of our little family.

Be sure to give a warm welcome to our new friends.

General Scroll Sawing - Pretty much anything scroll saw related goes here. This is a catchall forum for anything related to scroll sawing. From advice, tool inquiries, or anecdotes. Please keep conversations on-topic. Off-topic discussions should be held in the General Chat forum.

Intarsia/Segmentaion - This is a special forum specifically for intarsia and segmentation artists. Lath art and marquetry discussion is also welcomed. Discuss tips, techniques and materials.

Bragging Rights - What good would a community be if we couldn't show off our latest work. Pretty much anything that you're proud of can go here. Your latest scroll saw project, newest shop jig, or a picture of your new granddaughter. This is a pretty lenient forum where bragging is not only OK, but encouraged!

Works In Progress - Post progression pictures so the rest of us can live vicariously through you. This is a great way to document your progress from beginning to end. Or, if you have a tutorial to share, this is the perfect place to post it.

Pattern Maker's Lounge - Pattern making can be a challenge to learn. So this is a great place to learn and find some advice, discuss techniques, and find a little help if you get stuck! Please note that this is not the area to request patterns. All requests should all happen in the Pattern Requests forum.

New Pattern Announcements - This is a place where designers can announce new patterns that have been uploaded to the Pattern Library. New patterns should not be attached to the post. However, links to the pattern in the Pattern Library is encouraged.

Pattern Requests - If you need a pattern, this is the place to ask. From unusual patterns to custom portrait patterns of loved ones. Requests for copyrighted, licensed, or trademark patterns is forbidden and will be removed immediately. Please be sure to read the rules of the forum before posting pattern requests. Also note that posts over 30 days will automatically be deleted from the forum. Be sure to download your requested pattern right away, or risk losing it forever. Patterns with a wider appeal should be uploaded to the Pattern Library and linked for the requester. Only post patterns that you have designed.

Coffee House - This is an off-topic forum. Pretty much anything goes. Sports, news stories, forum games, or your favorite cookie recipe. Please note that political or religious discussions are not allowed and will be removed (they can turn really nasty very quick).

Help & Feedback - If you need help using website features, this is the place to ask. Help with anything outside of the website features should be posted in the appropriate forum (General Scroll Sawing or Intarsia/Segmentation). You'll can also find tutorials using the website here. Feedback, feature requests and bug reports are also appropriate here.

Hot Deals - Buy and sell your scroll saw wares, or let us know of a killer deal. If you have a used item, a product, or want to issue a press release, this is where to do it. Remember, there is a very fine line between informative posts and spam. So be careful and don't abuse this privilege. Posts that seem "over-spammy" will be removed. Posts must also be applicable to the scroll saw community. Make sure to read the forum rules before posting.
