  1. Well done Gary! Glad you could use the pattern.
  2. Welcome Travis, as I recall, you make cartoons as well. Sappy Sam. Pete
  3. Kris, my little shop is in the basement, in what used to be a bedroom before our nest emptied... The vac hose goes up into the ceiling and over to the utility room where the shop vac lives. The reason I put the vac in the other room was just for the noise. I can't put it outside here in Minnesota for obvious reasons, but perhaps you could. I also have a little box for painting and spraying adhesives that is vented outside similar to how a dryer vent works, see pic.
  4. Here's mine, suction from top and bottom of table, through the dust deputy, up through the ceiling and into the next room where the (remote controlled) shop vac is located. Works great, the only noise I hear is the suction. The drill press is also connected to this system. Pete https://youtu.be/XCWK-yJ1U4A
  5. I use a regular shop vac in another room operated by remote control. Had a lot of help on this from member "Multifaceted" (Carl Jacobs). I had severe COPD and had to remove as much sawdust as possible. How I made it. https://youtu.be/DnVFuMb4LqM Mounted on saw. With upgraded light. https://youtu.be/XCWK-yJ1U4A In use. https://youtu.be/5j7AcrcDiB0
  6. Here you go. You'll find a link to the manual here too. Pete https://www.skiltools.com/Tools/Pages/ProductDetail.aspx?model=3335-07
  7. This is not what you asked for but.... Here's a list of the fonts I choose from. Hope it helps. Pete Scroll fonts NAMES.pdf
  8. I'm a basement dweller also. I have shop vac hoses to the top and bottom of the saw and to the the drill press. Vac is in another room operated by remote so it's quiet. Also a box to spray paints and adhesives that is ducted to outside like a dryer vent, so no fumes. I do have a router table and orbital sander in the garage, but don't spend too much time using those. Especially in the winter. Pete https://youtu.be/XCWK-yJ1U4A https://youtu.be/5j7AcrcDiB0
  9. Like Ron said, I keep mine in another room in the basement operated by a remote. All I hear is the sound of sucking air. Pete https://youtu.be/5j7AcrcDiB0
  10. I did modification shown in the video except I slotted the holes in the back by the pivot rather than the ones by the linkages. I also raised the back of the table by using a customized pivot thingy. The combination helped immensely. Pete customized pivot thingy, wood one was a prototype.
  11. Here you go. http://www.scrollsawvillage.com/articles.html/_/resources/pattern-resources-r67
  12. I made a bunch of those tiny reindeer last year and used this from my local Menard's big box store. Pete
