Rob Posted August 31, 2016 Report Posted August 31, 2016 (edited) This is a Steve Good pattern and designed to be free standing on a base. I chose not to cut all of the detail in the pattern and photographed this before finishing or mounting it on the base. Rob Here is the finished piece. Rob Posted September 1, 2016 Author Report Posted September 1, 2016 Oh yes. Love the song, actually love anything Mr Thompson does. His is by far my favorite version. I used to regularly go to the annual Fairport Convention reunion festival at Cropredy (a little village that was the site of a civil war battle in 1644) for many years before I left the UK. Pretty sure I have seen RT perform this live at one of those but I may be mistaken due to the fantastic Wadsworth 6X beer they used to sell. I don't know if you like Fairport but Matty Groves, The Hiring Fair and Green and Gold are some of my favourite tracks from that time. They would end every festival with Meet on the Ledge. Happy times indeed. Rob Quote

Rob Posted September 1, 2016 Author Report Posted September 1, 2016 Rob That bike looks really good. Have you rode it yet? Ha! Thanks Don but my riding days are behind me I think although the beautiful scenery and empty roads here in NZ sometimes make me hanker after two wheels again. Rob Quote
