Greenie Posted September 2, 2016 Report Posted September 2, 2016 Ole Greenie here again--can anyone tell me what the best resolution for a photo to make a pattern from? I have seen some say the resolution is too small to work with. Thanks in advance, I really appreciate all the help I get from this site. Eddie Quote
DonR Posted September 3, 2016 Report Posted September 3, 2016 The best photographs for making patterns are taken in natural light, close up, minimal shadows, get rid of the sunglasses. If you can get a picture 6 inches or larger at 150 dpi then you should be able to get a decent pattern. Ideally I like 8 X 10 single subject head and shoulders at 150 dpi. Don R Quote
