Oddball Hawk Saw

I run across this the other night and thought how odd looking the saw is.. I knew they made a 214 14" saw.. but I've never seen one of these..

There was one like that for sale here in the NW a couple months ago.  If Roif had lived closer, I would have notified him because around that time he was wanting a saw he could take to shows or somewhere. He is a Hawk fan and maybe would have been the thing for that.

I"ve got a single speed with Fasco motoer 3/4" shaft, the good one. Got a quote for repairs of less than $80.00 from  bushton. any one interested $75.00. Got tied up with the Sakira and kinda forgot about this one which I was intending to get going.  I forgot its either 1982 or 1985 according to serial #. Couldn:t pass up when bought my Delta Band saw satin a barn fir several years.

They offer support for equipment that was obsolete 20 years before they bought the company. Sure wish Dewalt, Black and Decker, Sears and Delta were like that.
