don in brooklin on Posted December 21, 2018 Report Posted December 21, 2018 (edited) I received Steve Goods pattern today were he does a multi layered pattern similar to the ones done by Alex Fox. Really like the design and I wanted to try to do myself for a team logo, I can create the multi layers by using the dynamic offset but it is hit or miss on the movement of the little triangle. Does any one know of another way so that you can offset by a percentage, number of pixels … so each layer is offset exactly the same. I have done two layers as below but can't figure out how to do 3rd layer with exact same offset. Thanks PS: This is just a test as I will have the top letters linked. Foxfold Posted December 21, 2018 Report Posted December 21, 2018 It can be done albeit a bit fiddly. https://graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/6419/increment-dynamic-offset-size https://www.inkscapecuttingdesign.com/smf/index.php?topic=159.0 Fab4 1 Quote
don in brooklin on Posted December 21, 2018 Author Report Posted December 21, 2018 Thank you. I used the XML editor and it worked on the first one. Now I just have to figure out the value I need. One again thank you Don Fab4 1 Quote
Fab4 Posted December 22, 2018 Report Posted December 22, 2018 Hi Don: Great question and thanks to Brenda for the reply That's the tricky part is finding the right value, luckily it's easy to change These people who design these programs obviously have better drugs than we do and for sure they do not walk in our shoes I wonder if they know about the "KISS" logic Thanks Fab4 meflick 1 Quote
