dwssr2 Posted January 13, 2019 Report Posted January 13, 2019 I am looking for a fret work pattern for this attachment 1936 4 door Dodge Sedan. This is a long overdue gift for a friend who is restoring one of these cars. I have done very few fret work projects, so I would like to keep it simple. No background in the picture necessary, but I may want to add some text or a Dodge symbol. Overall size approximately 16 in square. Thank you, Dan dodge 2.docx Quote

dwssr2 Posted January 14, 2019 Author Report Posted January 14, 2019 Thanks Jim, that looks great. I am going use that. I assume the grey parts get cut out? I may post this on a different area of the forum and ask some questions. I especialy like the red lines. I already have a copy printed off, of course I will enlarge it with the printer. I will post pictures of progress and finished project. It will take me a very long time since I have other projects going the same time. thans so much dan Quote

Yes, that is what it looks like to me. You also can cut the red lines for the body lines. I usually will cut those with a flat blade and then go back over them with a #2/0 or #1 spiral blade. Be careful not to cut the red line in the front passenger side wheel or that spot for the hub area will fall out.. also watch the lines closely in the front bumper.. cut the grey but those red lines above the rectangle grey spots come down pretty close to the grey area so just watch those areas. I'd probably leave a much larger spot between those red lines and the grey cutouts in that bumper. Quote
