Nissan 300ZX Clock Pattern Request

My son picked up one of these to build ( project car ) and I thought it'd be fun to make him a desk clock of the car he's building..  Also would like a portrait style pattern if it's not too much trouble..

P.S. This is not his car as his is in a million or more pieces.. I have doubts it get's put back together.. but for now he has big plans / dreams... LOL

If you have a high-quality photo for the portrait of this car, then I am ready to try to draw a pattern for this.

Wow that's awesome Jim, Thank you very much.. 

I usually try to keep the length of the car about 8" most end up around 10" once I add the spot for the clock though.. Then overall length with the base etc they end up being about 11" wide.. 

Most cars I make I end up finding a coloring page that works.. then I use inkscape to add the rectangle, circle area for clock, and text.. I like side views so sometimes it's hard finding a side view.  Most pictures etc are always angle views...

I was really looking forward to cutting this today.. but at -17F in the shop.... guess I'll stay in and add products to my Amazon store instead  But.. boy I can't wait to cut it..

Sounds to me that the money you spent on your CNC could have put a heater in your shop.

I changed up the design some and added the clock area to this.. Might brave the cold and cut some of it later today.. not as cold at 13F right now.. Below is the clock style pattern in case someone might want to cut it.. Note though.. I don't make the fancy breaks / bridges when I work patterns or rework them.. so the red in the 0's and the A are for reference to stop cutting at the lines or it'll fall out ... Hopefully someone will understand what they are.. but I'll post a photo of the finished piece so you can see how I do them LOL

Got a little done with it today..until I found out my pipes froze in the well pump house..so had to put the scrolling on hold for a while.. Maybe finish it up tomorrow..

Well, finished cutting this morning and glued to the base. Now just to wait to put the finish on. 

Really had a lot of fun with this one  as it’s one of my favorite cars from my childhood. Though never owned or drove one, just remember when they came out I was in high school and thought they was the cool. Also liked the 280z and Mazda RX7 back in the day..

Tell me please, what is the diameter of the clock?
There is an idea to draw a pattern with a motorcycle and embed the clock in the front wheel.
What do you think of it?

Kevin has a few motorcycle clocks he has for sale on his Etsy site where the clock is inserted as one of the wheels.  You can see them here:

Sorry- I did have it on there but I was messing with my account about a month ago and seen it was gone.. I just never put it back up.. I fixed it now
