Jim Finn Posted January 25, 2019 Report Posted January 25, 2019 Our club makes, and distributes, 4000- 5000 toys, each year, to local children hospitals , Ronald McDonald House, and the Salvation army. I have made 125 of these trucks for this effort. I make them using about 30" of 2x4's. These trucks are 10" long and have 1 3/4" wheel (which we purchase). This one is made using wheel axle peg but most of them have 1/4" dowels as axles. I use a table saw, band saw, drill press, and scroll saw to make these. meflick, amazingkevin, RabidAlien and 5 others 8 Quote

Tomanydogs Posted January 27, 2019 Report Posted January 27, 2019 Holy Jim what a generous club you belong to, that’s great. There are no woodworking clubs in my area. I wish there was. Jim Finn 1 Quote
Foxfold Posted January 27, 2019 Report Posted January 27, 2019 (edited) Amazing, such kindness in this day and age is sadly rare. I commend you sir. I'm sure each and every one of the toys are treasured.x Edited January 27, 2019 by Foxfold Jim Finn 1 Quote
