Charlie E Posted January 29, 2019 Report Posted January 29, 2019 (edited) Got another project going on for my wife's Labrador, Opal. I made her a table to go over the dog crate. The top is oak and sides are pine. We'll probably paint the sides and stain the top. She's 9 months old now and no sign of growing up yet. Finished top with English Chestnut stain by Minwax, then sprayed 3 coats satin poly.Β Painted bottom, distresses and sprayed 3 coats of satin polycrylic.Β Edited February 6, 2019 by Charlie E RabidAlien, jollyred, Lucky2 and 2 others 5 Quote

oldhudson Posted January 30, 2019 Report Posted January 30, 2019 If you're crating the dog, that's a good use of the space. Well done, I like the look. Charlie E 1 Quote

rjweb Posted January 30, 2019 Report Posted January 30, 2019 Nice project looks good, as far as labs go, they never grow up, I have had labs for the last 40 years, I have 2 chocolate labs now 8 years old and plenty of energy, but they are the biggest babyβs and gentle dogs you could ask for, RJΒ amazingkevin and Charlie E 2 Quote
