Popular Post Rolf Posted November 19, 2020 Popular Post Report Posted November 19, 2020 The Gnomes are the second of the three Gnomes from Bruce Worthington's design. I edited them a bit by adding a base so that they can free stand or hang as an ornament. I used poplar. The Log slices I bought from Amazon they came pre drilled with the twine. I cut them on the scroll saw then did some power carving using my Vortex F5, amazing little tool. Added a bit of paint. Fun fast projects. new2woodwrk, jvbscroller, Fab4 and 8 others 11 Quote
meflick Posted November 19, 2020 Report Posted November 19, 2020 Both are just adorable. I like that the gnomes can be used as ornaments or stand. Quote

Rolf Posted November 25, 2020 Author Report Posted November 25, 2020 (edited) Marg, thanks for the nice comment. They are a Bruce Worthington pattern and simple segmentation with a bit of shaping and paint. Segmentation is like cutting puzzles. It will be interesting to see how they sell at this week and next weekend. As I have a bunch of stuff on consignment at a local annual event. We don't have to be there. With the Covid restrictions there are not many events so either folks will swamp this one or it will be a total bust. I will know in a couple of weeks.
