I'd see if there is a tag on the motor.. some of the older equipment might have had a different motor put on so I wouldn't count on the saw model numbers etc. Probably could take the old brushes out and take them to a electric motor service shop so they can match them up. Scrappile Posted June 24, 2021 Report Posted June 24, 2021 I had a Craftsman table saw that I purchased in the '60's. Had it until the early 2000. My son-in-law has it to this day... the original motor gave out in the '90's, I replaced it with a motor from Harbor Freight.... Reasonably priced,,, It is still on the saw and still working fine... munzieb Posted June 25, 2021 Report Posted June 25, 2021 I have a 113. Sears 10" table saw and it is one of the tools I use most in my shop. I have had it for 20+ years and have done many modifications to fine tune it. I've had to replace a few parts and Octoolguy had a good suggestion for parts. The best thing I did was to buy a new fence (Shop Fox $$) the old fence was not true and was concave in the middle and affected my cuts. It also would not lock down exactly parallel to the blade. With the new fence, I can trust the measurement scale in the front that all cuts are accurate. I did replace the 2 plastic adjustment handles/wheels for blade height and blade angle with cast aluminum wheels. Big difference. Also replaced pully wheels and belt and added wheels to the base so I can reposition it in the shop for larger cuts. I have a cabinet full of add on tools for making boxes and a miter and crosscut sled that saves a lot of time doing projects. This tool was made when Craftsman quality meant something. There are several Youtube videos on repairing and tuning up this saw. The suggestions of brush replacement are all good options. OCtoolguy 1 Quote

I see them all the time for sale in the $100 range. I've been so tempted. munzieb and DickMira 1 1 Quote
