Paintbrush Help

I have gotten to lesson 6 and when I activate a paintbrush it gives me a square to paint with which is unworkable. I have tried editing the brush to get the round one to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Gary

Select the brush. In the Tool Options dialog, it should say Brush: with a picture of the brush beside it. Next to that, it'll have the name of the brush. Does it say Circle? There should be a bunch of pre-made brushes available. To select one, click the picture and that will have a dialog box with a bunch of brushes (squares, circles, confetti, etc). I'd just use a pre-made brush instead of creating your own brush. I think I used the Circle (5) and the Circle (3) for my tutorial.

 

Don't know if that will solve your problem or not.

Thanks Travis that did it. I only tried using the pre=made brushes but could only get the square one.
