It goes without saying that this prestigious occassion be followed by the customary Acceptance Speech.

I counted the ballots and it was a unanimous tie with both Bob and Jerry.

You both do a great job entertaining us with your cartoons. My only complaint is that we don’t get some every day.

Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis 
to name a few
BUT:

What you guys do is bring in some much needed relief in this crazy world for us Villagers
Keep them coming, and maybe you guys can get together one day to open up an ice cream stand

unfortunately, due to Covid, Flu, rabies, travel tax, sales tax and lots of other bad things which hinder free travel, Jerry and I have never met. All our meetings have been Zoom and Whats App so I've never seen Jerry in the flesh, so I dont know if he can manage to both stand and bow at the same time. However, me being younger and fitter have to confirm that I can do both. So I'll do it for both of us and Thank You all (Jerry; you started this so its your own fault)
