Foxfold Posted January 2, 2022 Report Posted January 2, 2022 A Grey and White 'Manchester Bee' requested by my daughter. The white bits are done with a router and then it was cut out with my Scrollsaw, so I suppose it can be called a 'Scrouter' piece. It's 6" tall x 8" wide, done with ½" mdf. This Bee is generally done Yellow and Black but the decor in her house is Grey/White/Pink and wanted one to match. Roberta Moreton, ChelCass, jollyred and 6 others 9 Quote

Manchester’s main symbol, was adopted in 1842 by the newly-created council. The Manchester bee is the worker bee, for this is a city that grew on the notion of hard work. An often-repeated phrase is that “everyone in Manchester is as busy as bees.” Here's a piece about it. https://beeinthecitymcr.co.uk/manchester-bee/ don watson, John B, wombatie and 1 other 3 1 Quote
