Marg Marg, Where in Canada is she heading? Different parts of the country experience cold differently. Here in the middle of Canada, we have a "dry" cold. As long as the wind isn't horrible, it is usually tolerable. That being said, this week we have had a extreme cold warning. This morning the temperature is -31 C with the wind, which is only 10km/h, it feels like -40C. This wasn't the coldest we have been this week. If she is heading to Winnipeg, feel free to contact me to get info, I would be happy to give her info on Winnipeg. Barb Quote
ChelCass Posted January 7, 2022 Report Posted January 7, 2022 I guess this is where I got my quirky sense of humor. Grandfather is from MacGregor. Having lived in the U.P. of Michigan for the past 25 years, Canada's weather wouldn't bother me in the least. The coldest we ever got was -47F. and I still went to a christmas craft sale.......lol wombatie 1 Quote

I will call her later and find out. When you consider that our lowest is around 1C first thing of a morning during winter there is going to be a big difference. Marg Quote

Marg Well, in BC she won't be experiencing the temperatures we get here. However, they are experiencing some cold weather now. They are expecting a snowfall, which is something that rarely happens. They have had some horrible weather issues this year - climate change wombatie 1 Quote
