dgman Posted January 8, 2022 Report Posted January 8, 2022 11 hours ago, wombatie said: Recipe please??????? Marg It’s an easy dish to make. 1 pound boneless skinless chicken Brests cut into small bite size pieces 1 cup Bottled teriyaki sauce 3 bell peppers. I use a red, a yellow and an orange bell pepper 1 medium sweet onion 2 table spoons vegetable oil or extra virgin olive oil corn starch as needed. In a medium size mixing bowl, place the cut up chicken and pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken. Mix and let marinate for at least 30 minutes. while the chicken marinates, core and seed the bell peppers, then julienne the peppers. Julienne the onion. Use as much or as little as desired. In a wok or large pan pour in the oil, when hot, pour in the vegetables and stir fry. You want them to still be a little crunchy. Remove veggies into bowl. Add the chicken with marinade. Cook till fully done, about 10 minutes. Add the veggies and stir until coated with the marinade. If the liquid is to watery, move the chicken and veggies to one side and add a teaspoon slurry of corn starch and teriyaki sauce. Mix it in so there are no lumps, then mix the sauce into the rest of the dish. Serve over white rice or pasta. Yummy! barb.j.enders, danny and wombatie 2 1 Quote

TAIrving Posted January 9, 2022 Report Posted January 9, 2022 We love bell peppers and use them in many recipes. We try to be careful in cutting and cleaning them. But the seeds wind up everywhere. It is a running joke in our house about who finds the last / latest bell pepper seed and where we found it. I currently have the latest, found 3 days after the most recent cutting, on the floor halfway across the kitchen. dgman 1 Quote
Dan Posted January 9, 2022 Report Posted January 9, 2022 I was thinking or going the route of vegetarian, but I can never harm a vegetable that looks back at me. I guess I'll keep eating beef. barb.j.enders and wombatie 2 Quote
