A few days ago, my Facebook account was hacked.  No big deal, there is nothing there worth stealing, but the hacker sends messages to people "from me" (Not).  A couple of years ago I changed my birthday on that account to a completely different date.  If a hacker wants to steal your identity, (Financial, medical. etc. data), your birthday gives them a real good start.

On this site, I just clicked my name/picture and edited my birthday to a false number.  IF someone hacked into SSV, they could get a lot of birthdays.

Technology is wonderful. We have a Buick with heated seats.  Occasionally, they will turn on in the summer by themselves.

Also, all of those cutesy "post something positive" little quizzes that show up on social media (latest one is all about pets....) are just easy pickin for password attempts.  What car did/do you own?  First/favorite pet's name?  Favorite food?  All of that stuff can be found on your typical "recover my password" security question list.

I do not have a FB account or any other social media type account.   Just this one and a motorcycle forum account. .. and I have that same Buick! So you really aren't 105 years old?  Is that even you in your profile pic!  LOL
