Got to LL Johnson Lumber yesterday.  This is what $70.00 worth of lumber looks like.  Their prices have gone up.  Sigh!

Exactly,  This is why I was very picky on what pieces of wood I wanted.  This bunch will last me a good while.

I wish I could go there and come out with only spending $70... Whenever I go there to get lumber it's $500+.. but I only go once a year or sometimes two years, LOL.. I'm running low on Cherry but hoping to be able to wait until the wood expo sales in Sept. That always has to happen over our wedding anniversary so depends on what plans she has as to whether I actually get to go or not to the Charlotte location. The one in Indiana is a week after the Charlotte MI  expo but many times the pickings got picked through at the first expo in Michigan's location..

Prices are a bit higer for sure. But, it looks like you got a nice piece of dogwood there. LOL.

That is a fine looking protector of your wood you have there!   I didn't have rotties, but I had Dobies. both great dogs.  I would love to have one more Doberman before I die.  But not in the cards.

Yep!  That's Sadie my husband's dog.  She is such a Daddy's girl however whenever I go out to my shop she has to go also.  Might be due to the toy box filled with some of her toys.  lol.  She is a sweetheart and she dearly loves people, everybody is her friend.
