Docupton Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Well my first craft fair has now ended, and although i would still rather be tucked up in my shed i think it all went very well. Sold enough to make a small profit, took some orders and wating to hear from venue owners with a view to supplying them with a few items to sell in the venue gift shop on a sale or return basis. And now all the nerves of facing the public have faded I'm feeling quite chuffed. Thanks again to all of you who gave me encouragement before the event. Quote
DWSUDEKUM Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Congratulations. The 1st one can always be a bit unnerving. Some times you will have good outings and sometimes not.. the public is a bit fickle DW Quote
Rover2 Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 Congratulations. My first show was a learning experience but it was a good feeling when people liked items that I made and bought them.. Nice making some extra cash support the hobby also. Quote

Docupton Posted March 12, 2012 Author Report Posted March 12, 2012 Hi Robert, most of my sales were portraits and animal jigsaws, so i'm busy building up my stock again. Quote
stang67 Posted April 8, 2012 Report Posted April 8, 2012 Congrats on your first craft show and profit. Keep up the good work and you will have sawdust up to your ....... I find everyshow different and what I sell at one show does not sell the same at the next show. So good luck and keep on scrolling. Mick Quote
