amazingkevin Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 I WAS RUNNING OUT OF INTERNET TIME AND POSTED IN THE WRONG SPOT. I NOW HAVE 2.5 GIG TO USE INSTEAD OF 5 MEG..GOT TO WATCH MY DOWN LOADS FROM THE VILLAGE. wONDER IF I COULD SAVE THEM INSTEAD OF DOWN LOADING IS THERE A DIFFERANCE?aNYWAY wow the caps was one .i am wound for sound lately. too much to soon .i tryed to find how to cut polycarbon on all the search engines i have and got nowhere. they only talked about table sawing it. well i put two and two together and decided to try the band saw. worked perfect. the scroll saw worked perfect too. i used a fdsr#12 and it cut great ,way smoother than the course band saw.i glued the wings on with 2p.10 super glue.the ducks were supposed to be 12" x 24'' .Birchbard made short order of that for me with these cutie's.there going to be lawn ornaments, lolOk lets get to the work in progress. Birchbark Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 Good thinking on the bandsaw. Better to use that than to try and free hand a router. They came out real nice. I see the bow wasn't gonna work for you on the girls heads. i was wondering about that. I was worried about the tie as well, i see you handled that just fine. Nice job on this Kevin, thanks for showing us. Russell Quote

Bishop Posted January 2, 2014 Report Posted January 2, 2014 Kevin Great job on the ducks. We have cut polycarbon before and it does make a mess. We used a spiral blade at slow speed and it worked very well. But your solution probably made less mess and was a lot faster. Way to go and keep the chips flying. You are the master of your domain!!! Thanks God Bless Homer & Carol amazingkevin 1 Quote
