Good morning all. Coffee's ready and plenty of shortbread left from the New Year celebrations. There's also a wee dram if you folks with all that snow need warming up a bit. Quite glad the roof's done as it's blowing a gale today and it's freezing and only 38F. Went out to the 4x4 this morning and discovered I had a flaming puncture. Won't be buying any lottery tickets this week :curse:  :curse: .

I've just had a thought. I could use a lump of the wife's Christmas Cake to stuff in the hole in the tire, that might save me a few bucks.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Thanks for the coffee Rob. Glad the roof is fixed. Christmas cake in the tire...what an idea! If it works, you can celebrate Christmas all year, or at least until the tire gives out.

Thanks for the coffee Rob, I see you got the roof fixed before all the bad weather that I sent back to you arrived.

Just out of curiosity, which will last longer the Christmas cake repair or the tyre itself???  (careful how you answer if the good lady is watching over your shoulder!!!!!)

Put it this way Keith, I'll send you a large piece of the cake, (If I can afford the shipping costs), it weighs a flipping ton. I'm quite sure you could stick it on your lathe and make a very unusual bowl. I'm going to keep some just in case I get another HOLE in the ROOF, should have thought of it before I spent a fortune on it. :grr:  :grr: .

Kevin I don't know about the cake being Petrified, but we're all Petrified to eat it. Every time you open the closet door it's sitting there leering at you!!! Oh. What are TWINKIES Kevin. A hacksaw is of no use to cut it, but you might manage it with a PLASMA CUTTER.

Hi Dan I'll send you a lump of cake and you can make fantastic never been seen before pens and fridge magnets. Don't think you'll need magnets as I'm sure they'll be self adhesive.

Well looks like I'm making the tea then and I'll make a lovely sponge cake and use your wife's Christmas cake as a table with four of the wife's sausage rolls for legs there really hard to chew on.

Roly

Hi Roly, how do you get table leg sized sausge rolls in the oven ???? .
