  1. Thanks, Merlin, called them and they don't have it. It is a special order with them and they show it as tired up by publisher. Back to the drawing board. jim
  2. Thanks for the help, funny I remember seeing it just never bought it. My bad. jim
  3. Thanks for the tips, tried the book search place and they are out of stock and no more coming in. Spoke to Fox Chapel and they have none. Check scroll saw supplies like WTB and Scroller, and Meisel Hardware and no luck. Checked libraries and not luck there either. May start a search of old book stores in Los Angeles and see what I come up with. Know anyone in Japan who might be able to look there? Just kidding. thanks jim penquin
  4. Very nice cutting of a super pattern, well done to you both. jim penquin
  5. They all look super. Now go and take a rest. Sleep is important and the work will always be there. Enjoy life and rest when you need it. jim penquin
  6. My bad: put the wrong title down: It is "Making Marvelous wooden puzzles". Sorry for the confusion. jim Not sure where to post this one. Am trying to find this book that was published by Fox Chapel publishing a few years ago. The Title is Making Marvelous Wooden Puzzles by Saburo Oguro. It is not available anywhere. Has a bunch of very interesting patterns in it. If anyone has it and is willing to sell it or knows where it can be found I would love to know about it. This fellow created some really great and fun looking patterns. One place said you can order it from Amazon Japan but I have no idea how that works or even where to start. Thanks for any help anyone can give me. jim penquin

  17. On a recent road trip we stopped at a saw mill ( 1 guy with a portable mill) in New Mexico. He had a ton of ceder and let me pick what I wanted. We had a great visit with him. He also had a pet Long Horn steer and let my wife give it a ice cream bar, paper and all. It was a real laugh to see how much it enjoyed the ice cream. Here are some cuttings I have done in the ceder. The fox is by Old crow scroll works or Don, the horses is by Gayle and the wolf is by unknown, don't have a name on it. jim penquin

  20. That is awesome, it is beautiful. Love it, the detail and work is outstanding. Can't believe you drilled and put all the wire in to create a cage. Just looking at the work to do that have me amazed. Getting them all to line up and be correct had to be a huge job. Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful Art work with us. Again just beautiful. Love the green color. jim penquin
