bobscroll Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Yesterday was my first day without sugar in my tea and coffee, The reason being I was told I'm now Diabetic! One thing I noticed was that I didn't feel sleepy after my dinner and tea as I usually did, So I've had this problem for some years and not realised it! So you Guy's & Gal's think about it, Do any of you feel like this at times? My wife thought I was being a bit lazy, I kept telling her I really feel tired and just want to have a nap. She keep's asking me how does your coffee taste now and I say Bloody awful with out the sugar! But I've got to stick to with it Yours sincerely Robert Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) Bob you need to look at juicing fruits and greens it not only reduces cholesterol it helps most body issues and for diabetics takes minutes to prepare check out youtube on ( juicing for health ) I have lower my cholesterol buy half without any pills and I feel great gives you energy. Doctors don't tell you about it otherwise they would be out of a job it's not what you eat it's what you don't eat that matters. Statins keep them busy but they give you liver problems. Doctor Roly. wombatie Posted July 25, 2014 Report Posted July 25, 2014 I have been a diabetic for 20 years and my eldest daughter was diagnosed last year. Our runs in the family so there was no getting away from it. But I was probably undiagnosed for about 5 years and my daughter reckons with her it was about 3 years. Its not so much the diabetes but all the things that it courses. Stay strong Bob. The next time any of you have to go for a check up ask for a Glucose Test, better to be safe than sorry. Marg Quote
