LarryEA Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 OK, have whatever you want. Forster, if it's still raining, you should have a hot pot of coffee ready. Gotta practice my emocons :! Quote
Dan Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 Just plain old coffee for me. It's going to rain all day and we are supposed to spray invasive plants today. Boss said to take the day off. YEEHAW!!! Then one of the naturalists called and said she needs 1000 crayons made for an event for the kids. How could I say no? I'm stuck indoors anyways and it's an easy task. Quote

Kepy Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 Just coffee for me as it is still raining and we are moving towards 6" so some sun would be nice as my yard is going to be a hayfield soon. Off this afternoon to my woodcarving group then bowling tonight so a busy day. Quote
edward Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 Just coffee for me , don't need that latte stuff. Had some over nite rain, and today looks great temperatures in the 70s, not bad for this time of year. Hope everyone has a great day. edward Quote
Dan Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 Dan, I thought you just bought crayons by the box full. How do you make them? What? You can buy crayons? Why didn't you tell me earlier? Hehe The park I work/volunteer for melt down crayons and pour them in candy molds. These are given to kids when they attend certain activities. Every time I do this I always say this is the last time. Well, this time I mean it. I sure hope they don't ask for more. I'm a suvker for helping the kids. wombatie 1 Quote
wombatie Posted October 15, 2014 Report Posted October 15, 2014 OK I will have everything you've got with a drop of the hard stuff. Had a bad/wasted day. Had another teachers name to do so I found the wood, prepared it, put the pattern on and I was probably just over half way through when I noticed 3 very fine cracks had appeared. One went all the way across. All varying degrees of depth. Nothing for it but to scrap it. So did some finishing on an order and walked out of the garage. And while typing this I just realized I forgot a piece that needs finishing. :curse: :curse: Hope tomorrow is better. Marg Quote
