Inkscape 101

This is a reminder that the Inkscape class will be beginning next Tuesday. This will be a 4 week class, with lessons released on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This will be held in the Village University forum. Just like the GIMP class, we'll have video tutorials, written instruction, downloadable source materials, and classroom discussions where you can have your questions answered! This will be a fun series. Since there is so much to learn about Inkscape, the first 6 lessons will be fundamentals. The last 2 lessons, we'll put what we learned to use and create 2 projects! We'll be designing a potpourri/trinket box and a nice desk clock.

How do I sign up? What time does the class meet? etc., etc. I do have Inkscape and am wanting to start making my own patterns!

No signup is required. The class will be held in the Village University forum. I usually post the lesson by mid-day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The classes aren't "live" or anything. The lesson is just a post in the forum with all of the information and videos. If you have questions about the lesson, you can ask in that lesson thread. It works very similar to the GIMP class if you took that (it is still available if you haven't checked it out). I hope this helps. It should be a fun class.
