greasemonkeyredneck Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 I posted a few photos of the fish here in Mississippi An albino catfish. I returned this one to the water. You don't see many of them around here anymore. An asian carp. We also returned this one. My fishing buddy in the photo, David, is the one who caught it. You know it's a big fish when it's head is bigger than David's. Spoonbill. This is my favorite fish, to catch and to eat. Quote
Firedkm Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 Bill they are some great catches you got. I live New Jersey in the pine barrens and our fish are really small compared to those! Quote
greasemonkeyredneck Posted September 23, 2009 Author Report Posted September 23, 2009 Thanks. Around here, they tend to run on the large side. I'll post more photos at a later date. It's common here to catch catfish over twenty pounds. Quote
Firedkm Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 If we find a fish at 2o lbs it probably living near the nuclear power plant! Quote
