Travis Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 I was able to put something together for you. Hopefully it'll explain how to add text along a path. In this video, I’ll show how to add text along a wavy path, as well as in a circle. Creating this kind of word art in GIMP is a little clunky. A better tool for this would be to use Inkscape where you have a little more control over the letters and paths you create. However, it is possible in GIMP with some trial and error to get it to look the way you want. Enjoy the show! amazingkevin, gator and Steve Curtis 3 Quote
gator Posted April 30, 2015 Author Report Posted April 30, 2015 THANK YOU SO MUCH. my daughters boy friend worked with me yesterday and he said same thing don't use gimp for this. we played with it and never could figure how to rotate it . thanks for the help that is what is so nice here people helping people out Quote
motorhomeless Posted May 8, 2015 Report Posted May 8, 2015 I would like to thank Lead Bottle Washer for his excellent series of videos on using GIMP. I have been using it for years and I probably learned more about using the program by watching him create a portrait pattern of William Shatner than any of the multitude of tutorials that I have watched over the years. Fine job, sir. Stan Travis, amazingkevin and gator 3 Quote
