The forest fire in Canada is causing a hazy sky clear down here in Iowa.  Knock it off Buddy !!

 

It is awful to see the devastation on TV, plus a heartfelt sorrow for the people affected.

Yeah Jerry, it's a bad one. I live on the opposite side of the country, but it's still affecting many people from my area. There's fund raisers everywhere you look, so far there's been over $30,000,000 donated. Just now on the news, they told the story of a four year old kid who sold lemonade to raise money for the victims. It was unreal how much money he made in a few hours, something like $5000.00. Hopefully, the money donated will get to the people who it was meant for. They are a hardy bunch out here, and they'll recover, it will just take time.

Yes Pray for rain...That is the only way this fire will be put out.

Water bombers are going constantly.High winds are really causing havoc to the fire fighters.

90,000 people evacuated and over 1600 homes burned.
