Just Got Home

Just came home from 10 days at the Oregon coast.  The Oregon coast line is one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. in my opinion.  I go there at least once a year sometimes more.  We stayed at our favorite state park, Beverly Beach.  My Daughter and her family came over for the first weekend.  We had 3 generations of Beverly Beach camper there at once, me, my daughter and her son.  I had been there many times buy the time I was 5 like my Grandson.  We had a great time. Kites were flown, (I have over 15 kites I has gathered over the years), marshmallows were roasted, eggs and bacon cooked over the little camp stove, walks and exploring on the beach,,, what at great time.  I could easily live over there, but my wife doesn't think she could handle the rain.  Oh well, there is next summer.  I can't wait. 

 

Spent a few minutes since I got home looking at some awesome things that were shared here.  Two tired to look at them all this evening, but will get to it over he next few evenings.  Can't really say it is good to be home, because I would love to still be at the beach, but I feel very fortunate to be able to go as often as we do and enjoy if.

Paul, it's nice that you had such a great vacation, by not living there you'll always have a place you can look forward to seeing again.
