floridagramps Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Years ago my wife bought some chests in Korea. Interesting hand made chests lined with Korean newspapers. Some time later, I cut the back out of one chest so it would accomodate stero gear. Stero gear is long gone,we now use Bose but the big hole I cut is still there. I am in the process of replacing the back of the chest with plywood stained dark. As a finishing touch, I need to line it with Korean newspaper (found it in SF) Question............will spray adhesive be a good way to attach the newsprint to the plywood. Attach PERMANENTLY Your thoughts appreciated. Pls suggest a specific adhesive and where to get it. I am just getting started in scrolling. My Dewalt arrives next week and I placed an order with Mike for blade assortment pack Quote
grampa Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Hi tom, I think that the newespaper will bubble and stain with spray adhesive why not just use wallpaper paste, might be your best bet...... Once you have ordered your new toy it takes forever to arrive but dont wory you will soon be making sawdust, have fun......Paul Quote
