edward Posted January 7, 2017 Report Posted January 7, 2017 Just wondering if anyone has any plans for a Karate Belt Rack, or where can I find some, any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks edward Quote
Chachi111769 Posted January 7, 2017 Report Posted January 7, 2017 Here You go Edward this is one I made for my Nephew Years and years ago You will need to resize the patterns I would use poster resizer it is free software download I used elastic hair bands to hold the belts and used flower pot chains connected by eye hooks on each side with very few links between them there are belts in Karate which is why I added the nine blanks but you can add more if needed....Karate-Belt-Display rack .pdf Quote
edward Posted January 7, 2017 Author Report Posted January 7, 2017 Thanks Chachi, what size of wood did you use, was it 1/2" or 3/4" edward Quote
Chachi111769 Posted January 7, 2017 Report Posted January 7, 2017 I used 3/4 for top and bottom (the black parts) and you can use 3/4 inch for the hangers or you can go thinner with 3/4 blocks to hold the hooks... Quote

MrsN Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) I made one a few years ago that looked a lot like the one that Chachi posted. At the time I looked at a bunch of images that I found online and made something work with a pretty piece of cherry that I had. I also used hair ties to hold the belt to the blank. I looked at my pinterest board, I think that this is the image I got my inspiration from. http://thumbs4.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/m5nl8uIj5Kt26pxkEdC1PTA.jpg I used a few karate silhouettes and a "ninja" type font with the name.
