tgiro Posted May 22, 2017 Report Posted May 22, 2017 I was tasked by a juried show to provide proof that I actually do the work on my intarsia projects from patterns to finished piece. With that in mind, I made these videos. If you take the time to watch them, you'll quickly realize a couple of things 1- I'm not a practiced presenter 2- There was no script. I just taped the steps I take, making a piece, and stopped now and then to explain my processes. 3- No, I'm not nervous about being "on camera". I have familial tremor and it shows. Even though I talk too much. These aren't really "how to" presentations - they are more of a "how I did it" type video. A couple of them are long, even after speeding up some of the repetitious parts. Again - they are, mostly, designed to satisfy a show jury that I actually do all my own work. If someone does catch a couple of ideas on how they can do something differently to make a better intarsia piece, then that's great. I just hope I don't bore people too much. Rolf Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 (edited) Tony Great Job! I am very jealous of your sanding setup. I really like that piece that you did the presentation on. The branch in particular stands out. Edited June 6, 2017 by Rolf Quote
