My router for my computer is up stairs, my computer is down stairs.  It has always be pretty slow, and unpredictable.  I just deal with.  Well after looking around, (seems to be worse lately), Iive been looking at a new router.  Mine is several years old, maybe it is wearing out.  I see there is a contraption called a Wifi extender.  Hummm.  I ask family members and my nephew said he installed one and it helped a lot.  So, I check the internet.  Read reviews and such, not too expensive. I bought a Netgear one that several sites recommended.  Not the top of the line, but best bang for the buck.  I received it today.  The setup scared me, but I got it setup in only two tries... not bad for an old gummer like me.   So far I am very impressed.  It has really speed-ed, ah sped things up!  Hope it lasts.  Not use to not having time for a glass of wine between page changes.... wait a minute... may unplug it... no glass of wine.??...
