Grasshopper Posted December 26, 2017 Report Posted December 26, 2017 Looking to get back into making patterns Looking for some new software that will do the job and be pattern friendly. Would appreciate any suggestions Quote
Dan Posted December 26, 2017 Report Posted December 26, 2017 Gimp and Inkscape are two free applications that a lot of folks use. Travis has great tutorials for both explaining pattern making as you learn the software. There are more robust and expensive software like Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator but 70% of their features you would never use to create patterns. I have Illustrator but chose to use Inkscape because it is easier. OCtoolguy, bobscroll and NC Scroller 2 1 Quote
