Well, not exactly, but I adapted a pattern from Sheila Landry that served the purpose of a Unity Cross.

Link to the page on Sheila's website below.

I left the inset and the frame parts of this piece separate.  During the ceremony, the couple each had one piece and placed them together.  I gave them instructions for how later to glue them together permanently.  I got a lot of nice complements on the piece, at the reception.

I am not trying to raise anybody's hackles and I am just copy and pasting a statement mad eon lumberjocks when the subject of
"A particular type of cross' was mentioned there seeking a pattern.

Copied quote below:

That being said, on the same forum Lumberjocks, you can see a photo of someone's design here:
http://lumberjocks.com/projects/106453

and you can create your own version with any manner of inner insert that fits into the shape of a cross and is held with 3 pegs to represent
The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

The cross in its entirety  then should be placed onto or into a base to make it free standing.

or an image search of different types of crosses.

And this is on their website:

The Unity Cross is Patented - # D619,926, #D 686,385, Pat. # 8,418,344 and other Patents Pending.

The Unity Cross is a Registered Trademark of Michael Letney. Any unauthorized use is prohibited.

The Unity Heart is Patented - # D715,683, # D715,684 and has Patents Pending. The Unity Heart is a Registered Trademark of Michael Letney. Any unauthorized use is prohibited.

Just make a cross and leave the word Unity out of it. There surely isn't a way someone could patent, or trademark, a cross. What's the world coming to?

My sentiments exactly, Timothy,
How can anyone say they have the copyright to crosses or hearts?
As you said, just don't use the word Unity.

Here's my idea for your pattern request.  Don't put them together or it may be a patent infringement.  😁
