munzieb Posted December 6, 2018 Report Posted December 6, 2018 Jumping back from Scroll saw projects to boxes again. Made a joint box (7" sq.) from poplar so my wife could paint it. I thought I had a system for cutting the top but still had to do some finagling to get it to work properly. My wife had a free hand in picking and painting the design. She was definitely faster painting that I was making the top work. Almost done with a scroll project (airplane again) I'll post once the lacquer dries. meflick, Scrolling Steve, amazingkevin and 1 other 3 1 Quote

meflick Posted December 6, 2018 Report Posted December 6, 2018 Beautiful work both in the crafting and then painting. With such an awesome job on the painting, I think I would give her free reign all the time in picking and painting whatever she wanted. munzieb 1 Quote
Rockytime Posted December 7, 2018 Report Posted December 7, 2018 Love the box. I am not a painter neither do I know an artist. So sad. Quote
Tomanydogs Posted December 7, 2018 Report Posted December 7, 2018 Beautiful. Both of you have done an excellent job. What a collaboration. Quote
