scrollsawSQUIRELL Posted March 8, 2019 Report Posted March 8, 2019 I did my very first piece using cutout letters this past week. I made this for my wife. The letters were 3/4” thick pine as well as the frame. Took me longer than I wanted, but it was my first time doing letters. I used 1/4” birch ply for the back and stained it with the Minwax Dark Walnut. Torched the frame only and added 2 coats of Zinnsser Shellac. amazingkevin, jollyred and meflick 3 Quote
