In the pen turning world we call these celtic knots too. I made these pens first is black acrylic with aluminum inlay knot. Next is yellowheart with redheart inlay and white and black stripes and next is just the reverse.Copy of IMGP0144.JPG

Celtic knots have always been popular. They have a kind of mystique. The cuttings are terrific. The reason I no longer make pens is I do not have accurate enough equipment to segmenting. John, your pens are exquisite. I tired of making plain pens. I don't sell so it gets expensive.
