Today will be a day to switch to "Plan B" as it is just to cold to work in the ole woodshop (shed). At 6 AM it was -5 degrees and three hours later it warmed up to a balmy -4 degrees; with any luck we may reach 0 degrees before the day is done. Even with my kerosene heater set on high it would take several hours to heat the ole woodshop up to 40 degrees and that would make scroll sawing uncomfortable. Along with the cold weather that moved in we also recevied about 10 inches of snow. So it is on to plan B - shovel deck and walkways, plow the driveway and hunker down in the house the rest of the day. I have several wood carving projects that need my attention. Some need paint and others are waiting for final touch-up carving. I also need to order some hardwood and Birch plywood for future scroll saw projects. Life in the high country of Colorado is great, as long as you have a Plan B and may be a Plan C.

Hope everyone is doing well.

I would partially agree with you. Your part of the world is great between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The rest of the year, I would rather be somewhere else. I spent one summer working on a small dude ranch NW of Ft. Collins. That was one job that I almost felt guilty at getting paid.
