Mudgett Posted November 2, 2019 Report Posted November 2, 2019 My Dad gave me his old rigid scroll ss1650 scroll saw. I decided to try pinless blades, but when I adjust the tension the lower arm starts banging against the bottom. If I lose the tension until it stops the blade seems too loose and twists fairly easily. Pinned blades do not have this issue. Any thoughts? OCtoolguy 1 Quote
JustLarry Posted November 2, 2019 Report Posted November 2, 2019 (edited) Mark, Welcome to the Village. Here is link to the 1650 manual. Page 16 shows information on install of plain end blades. Hopefully this will be of help. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/825971/Ridgid-Ss1650-1.html?page=16#manual Larry Edited November 2, 2019 by JustLarry John B and OCtoolguy 2 Quote
