jerry1939 Posted November 14, 2019 Report Posted November 14, 2019 In Inkscape, type name. This font is Ancestry SF, but other cursive fonts would work. Type Name With Circle Tool, drag a circle. Here I set Height & Width to 4.5 inches. Set Line thickness to .55 inches. Move the Name into the Circle and adjust size & placement as desired. When satisfied, Group Name & Circle. With Bezier Tool, make half the tab for hanging, as shown in "a". Duplicate it and flip horizontally to complete. Group the two halves. Draw a circle for the hole whatever size you desire. Use vertical alignment for the Tab & Hole. Group them, as shown in "b". Move the tab into position & Align Vertically with the Ornament. Group everything. I used black for your viewing, but make yours Red for easier sawing. 2 months ago, I gave my saw to a son in another state. Made a couple of these. One with the name of my widowed sister, the other with the name of brother & wife in the same circle. Glued the corners of sacrifice boards both above & below. jerry jollyred, amazingkevin, Roq and 5 others 7 1 Quote
