I have used the blue tape for a long time but recently tried the shelf liner.  Found some at Dollar Tree.  The roll was a $ but of course not as large  but works fine.  Don't think the glue is as strong but sometimes tape it down.  I also found some clear shelf liner on Amazon that works almost too good as really sticks down.
