Great deal on a "Green" Excalibur 21 in Long Beach, Ca. $440 asking price.

I just ran across this saw on C/L. If I didn't already have 2 of them, I'd be all over  this one. The table looks like its never seen a piece of wood. Really nice saw.

I have two already. I'm on the hunt for a nice Hegner. I'm dealing on one right now. We are $50 apart. She started out at $550 and has come down to $400. I told her that my cans and bottles only totalled up to $350 so I would have to wait for her to come down that last $50. I doubt she will. But, I'm patient. It's a very nice 2003 Hegner with all the trimmings.

@scrappile, I offered him $300. He came down to $350. I'm so tempted but I'll back off and see if he comes down to my offer. It's still up on C/L. Fingers crossed.

I went back to view this saw again. I failed to notice the first and second times that it is a very early Excalibur. It doesn't have the tension knob at the rear and has the Dewalt style tension lever on the front of the arm. That means it's a Canadian built machine. Probably a very good one.

if it has been used it was not much. looks almost brand new. that is a great saw for somebody just starting out, also a really good price and with proper care will last many years.
